September 8th & 9th.

The company’s ambition is to present a conference every second year, and as such the next conference will take place in the autumn of 2010.

The conference is titled ”Energydays 2010”, and will be arranged on Wednesday September 8th & Thursday September 9th. We will continue the emphasis on interesting and educational lectures, kept within an untraditional and informal frame-work, which will make the experience and the impressions even stronger.

“Energydays” is the product of the company Barents Energimesse AS. We are located in a small village in the middle of Troms County, called Rossfjordstraumen. The purpose of the company is ”to arrange an Energy Conference for the Barents area. This conference will focus mainly on education and information concerning the electro and energybusiness”. The previous conferences were arranged in 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2008. Here we offered a wide range of lectures and seminars. The subjects were interesting and informative for the participants who represented different levels within the energy business.

Earlier conferences were successful with lots of visitors, and positive feedback. This was in compliance with the ambitions of the people and companies behind this initiative. You can see pictures of what the participants experienced during the conferences, using these links:

Due to their own experience, and feedback from others in the business, the people behind this initiative strongly feel the need for another conference which includes the whole Barents region. This conference is meant to focus on the challenges our region will face in the years to come, concerning environment and energy. We also hope to develop closer connections between companies in North-Norway, Russia and the rest of the Barents region.
